Aluminium hardtail, sporting fast-rolling 29er wheels, 100 mm of front suspension and a triple chainset setup, giving you plenty of gears to choose from and lots of comfort and control out on the trails.

Triple chainring equipped entry-level 29er aluminium hardtail featuring a more upright and, therefore, more comfortable riding position than our more race-focused hardtails. The riding position puts less strain on the lower back and also improves the visibility of what lies ahead. A 100 mm suspension fork from SR Suntour and hydraulic disc brakes improve comfort and control even further.

Mountain biking is one of the most varied cycling disciplines and probably the most demanding when it comes to equipment. While full suspension bikes offer amazing riding characteristics, the classic hardtail remains one of the purest tools for the job. Our 29er wheel equipped BIG.NINE range comes in carbon and aluminium and features multiple geometry options. The carbon and LITE framed BIG.NINE, with its racing geometry, is an ideal companion on XC and marathon race tracks whilst the more relaxed geometry of the BIG.NINE TFS and SPEED offers a more comfortable, upright riding position. Our classic hardtails are the backbone of our range and showcase the enormous wealth of experience and knowledge we could gain in almost half a century of bike production and manufacturing. HIGHLIGHTS

MULTIPLE FRAME OPTIONS

Besides offering the BIG.NINE in a full carbon version, we also have BIG.NINE LITE and BIG.NINE/ SEVEN TFS aluminium frames in our range. While the LITE features the same race-proven geometry as the carbon models, the TFS bikes offer a more relaxed geometry, through a shorter top tube and a higher head tube, resulting in a more upright riding position and enhanced trail visibility. The TFS frames feature internal cable routing (except the BIG.NINE/BIG.SEVEN 15), smooth welding, tapered head tube, inboard disc mounts, and mounts for fenders, rear rack and kickstand.

TECHNOLOGIES

RACELITE 61 ALUMINIUM

We use a minimum of 6061 aluminium. The pay back is that it’s possible to make lighter and more advanced frames.We use an additional heat treatmentand double-butted wall thicknessesto produce light and stiff frames.

TFS - TECHNO FORMING SYSTEM

Technoforming is a mechanical forming process, shaping the tubes by usingnegative moulds, at times combinedwith an internal metal core.

F-MOUNT

‘F-Mount’ equipped bikes have integrated fittings for mud guards (some bikesrequire model specific mud guards),making fitting fast and simple.

K-MOUNT

Integrated mount on the chainstay tofit a MERIDA kickstand (or any commercial kickstand).

C-MOUNT

‘C-Mount’ equipped bikes have the fixing points for a rear rack already integrated (some bikes require model specificrear rack), making fitting fast, simpleand reliable.
